Shrewsbury v Carshalton in a pre-season friendly. Their keeper took a freekick right in the corner and it dropped straight to Dean Bowditch to volley it in first time from 50 yards to make it 9-0! THAT was a good goal!
Carlos Busquets almost did that in the nineties and he ended doing it worse: it was a Español-Barcelona, he kicked the ball and it hit a Español's striker that was outside the area, like twenty meters away. There was a Barcelona defender close to him, so instead of try to run with the ball and get a one on one against him, he shot a high ball, taking advantage of Busquet's advanced position. Coming high to him, he started to back up, one step, then another and another... he jumped to get the ball, he caught the ball and down to his feet with the ball on his hands, high over his head. Thing is, he landed inside his goal. Español 1- Barcelona 0 (I think was the first of a 2-0 Español win)
....
Once or twice my goalie shot a goal kick that had to be picked high by the oposition. My weirdest goal is in the funny moment thread I made: free kick, to the post, then bounced off the goalkeeper and back to the post, then back to two meters ahead the goal line, where my striker was to kick it into goal.
I didnt techniqually score it but I got a goal from this. the opposition did a back to keeper pass from 15 metres into my half and the keeper let it go...
Mine was when I was playing as NK Dinamo Zagreb and I was up against Dinamo Lech. My right back Etto was 40 metres away from the goal and he was running up along the byline. He went for what looked like a cross to the centre of the goal but then it ended up going directly at the middle of the goal right over the keeper and it went in!!
Also once Van Persie scored a goal and he started doing handstands and backflips for his celebration, he was even doing the flips along his way back to his position for when the team was about to kick of.
I was playing Man UTD, it was 2-2 I was everton. Evra passed it back to Van Der SAr, My team were not really closing down. Van Der Sar Just Left it and watched it roll in
