for 24 years now, has finally decided to step down from the managerial seat.
"I've been here for more than two decades already, and my retirement will come
sooner or later"
sooner or later"
"The club and I has made very careful preparations and planning for my retirement."
"Obviously i'm not going to step down all of a sudden and leave the club in complete disarray, that would be a very irresponisble thing to do in a big club like Manchester United"
"My heir will be someone who is emotionally attached to Manchester, someone who knows this club very well, I will continue to guide this new manager, and help him fill up these big shoes of mine."
"My retirement will be a long process, I urge supporters not to be shocked by my retirement, the standard of the club will not fall because of my retirement"
"My successor will be officially revealed later this week"

63 years old Fan#1: Obviously imma very upset, but the club has handled Alex's retirement very well, he's still gonna have some power in the club, so i wouldn't say we have lost Ferguson completely. Imma hopin the new boss would be a brave and loyal man, that can take up this big challenge of succeeding Alex
15 years old Fan#2: Thank you Ferguson, he won us Premier League and Champions league! and groomed my favourite player! Ronaldo! But he's old, i hope a good manager will come, Jose Mourinho is a very good manager!"
