Despite multiple reassurances from many members on this board.

The new patch has replaced the German national team in my 2018 save that I've been playing for months with blacked out made up players (including U 21 teams).

This isn't fm2010 where downloading a new patch won't effect the national teams (after deleting the files) this year they found out how to apply the "your not allowed to play with germany" **** to in progress saves.

well I might be a little late in asking but I just want to know.. why aren't we allowed to play with Germany? is it because of licensing problems..

It happened to me too......but luckily only one of play star player is German.

EA and Konami have the rights over the German NT. Same thing happens with Japan, although it's only Konami in this case.
