Why do you want former players? Just go for the best coaches! I know Nwanko Kanu is a coach, Marcel Desailly and Zidane are amazing scouts...

Marcel Desailly is Better as a Coach excellent defensive coach.

Zidane is able to be used as as a scout now, due to him being part of the directors.

Ronaldo, Brazillian. Has got pretty decent scout attributes to be potentially one of the best ones.
Brian McClair - (Manchester United) - one of the best coaches on the game, Best as a Coach instead of Youth Coach.
Warren Joyce - (Manchester United) Excellent defensive coach.
Paulo César Batista dos Santos - (Cruzeiro) Young but talented coach, has specialties in three major training aspects. Defending, Tactical and working with youngsters.
Carlos Pracidelli - (Palmeira) Very talented Goalkeeping coach with low wages to, I have him on a £1,500 contract.
