Introduction, Information and a bit of History

For the past few days, whilst I had the week off school and no homework to do thank god. (H) I decided I want to created a Barcelona tactic after reading a blog about the Barcelona tactic; and them bringing back the post-war tactic of WW formation also known as the 2-3-2-3. I think I found the perfect formula to it. As we all know Barcelona; strong defence, attacking wing backs, a strong defensive midfielder, 2 creative centre midfielders and a strike force with a lot of fluidity.:)

The Statistics

With a tactic, very strong in defence only conceded 9 in 27 games which is quite unbelievable even for me that's an achievement. The attack is equally as vital as the defence, if you don't attack you'll never win. My team scored 55 goals in 27 games which is an average of 2.037 per a game, which is good. In all 27 games, I lost once due to a silly red card against Getafe and drawing only 6. So the only 20 games were won.

The Playmaker

The vitally uses a playmaker which Barcelona use in real life as well and truly know. The playmaker does always get the most passes or sometimes the second most passes however he is truly involved in every attack that your team makes.

The Roles, Team Instructions and Other Bits

Goalkeeper - Sweeper Keeper [Attack]
Right Wing Back - Wing Back [Support]
Left Wing Back - Wing Back [Support]
Right Centre Back - Limited Defender [Defend]
Left Centre Back - Centre Defender [Defend]
Defence Midfield - Defensive Midfield [Support]
Right Centre Midfield - Deep-Lying Playmaker [Support]
Left Centre Midfield - Centre Midfield [Support]
Right Winger - Inside Forward [Support]
Left Winger - Inside Forward [Attack]
Striker - Target Man [Attack]

The back line is deep so the team can defend properly and do not concede too many goals, if they fail to defend. They can also skilfully, trap the opposition strikers offside. The Tempo is slow so the possession can build and then lead to some magic like Barcelona always show. And the width is the brink of wide; so the team can play their possession football out wide and the wingers can cut inside or the wing backs to launch a cross in.

If your team some how ends up down 10 men. No worries, there is a back up plan for you. You can go to a 2-3-2-2, and make a striker an Advanced Striker [Attack] and the other as your chance of Target Man/Deep Lying Forward [Support/Attack] And it worked for me against Real Madrid and other times I got into the mess similar. If you go down to 9 men, I even got a back up plan for that; get rid the other striker to 2-3-2-1 and make the striker a Target/Deep Lying Forward [Support] to bring other into play as well as him. When you are away, put the notches up by 3 on Tempo, Defence Line and Width. And you'll successfully will do well away from home; as I gradually manage to do with the halfway season with Barcelona.

The Download

It will come out soon as I test with other clubs; to see how they fare with it. Until when I am happy with it. I will put it public.

The Clubs That The Tactic Going Be Tested With Are:
  • Wigan Athletic
  • Burton Albion
  • Forest Green Rovers
  • Southampton

do you think it would work in the blue square bet south because i am struggling big time

Not a barcelona tactic, possession isn't high enough, and xavi isn't getting enough passes (problem with the ME)

You must get a lot of homework at your school lol. i never did mine and my grades ended up fine ^^

not a Barcelona tactic at all Barcelona score a lot more goals Messi scored 30plus goals on his own after 27 games plus he play's more in the centre now. Also they dont really play a wide game most of the play is through the middle, Xavi has 90 to 120 passes per game, clean sheets is ok but there are other tactic's out there that can score you many more and let in a lot less. Look out for my Barcelona tactic that i will be letting out soon Villa Messi and Perdo score lots and lots cleans sheets i'm just working on Xavi.

There are quite some BIG players out there that are hard to get "working" as in real life...or close to that potential..with Xavi even though he would be a Box-to-Box in real life as he aids defence a lot as well...in game he played best for me as Adv Playmaker support and Central Midfielder Support.
