Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his side's win at Blackburn shows the Gunners have the fight for a Premier League title challenge.

He said the same thing last season a couple of times but the Gunners still ended up short

i think they will beat sides like Blackburn etc this season but i still think they will lose to Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City.

Isn't a bit too early for him to talk like that ?

Not really.. It's obviously premature to say "we will win the title!" after an away win vs Blackburn, but all he's saying is that this year, the team is tougher, and much improved, because last year, we lost this fixture, and we've shown the physical, and mental resilience to get through it with 3 points.

How can you be so sure? Can you see into the future as you always seem to put Arsenal down. You know we have beat Chelsea Man Utd and Man City before most recently in The 2008/2009 season

He never said he was sure, He said i think, and you talking about 2 years ago.

Indeed it is a good sign that we beat Blackburn at EWood. So many times in the past have we faltered against these physical sides and dropped points that, to be honest, we shouldn't be dropping. But hopefully this is a sign of things to come against the Bolton's and Stoke's of the league.

And I agree with you CJACKO, I personally think we will probably lose/draw at least half of the matches vs Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea, but hopefully we accumulate enough points from the mid-bottom table teams to accomodate these results.
