Grimsby Town have sacked their manager Paul Hurst after the clubs advisor's thought his recent performances have been of a very low stranded.
It is thought they are already looking at possible candidates with the favourite to get the job as Jimmy Calderwood.
John Gallagher as been unveiled as the new manager of Grimsby Town F.C. manager After two weeks of the post becoming available.
Today John Gallagher came out in his first press conference saying he believes he can take Grimsby to promotion also saying that the league is his main priority. He said he thinks the set up at Grimsby is good and that the signings he makes will be thoroughly scouted so that he only gets the best. He then stated he promises attractive football to the fans of Grimsby.
Grimsby Town have got another two players to add to the list of signings which now accumulates to eight players. One of the two includes striker Pablo Counago who is an experienced striker who as played for the likes of Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town. The second player is an 20 year old Irish lad called Jamil Adam who is inexperienced but our sources from Ireland tell us he has bags of ability. They two are meant to join the other striker that Grimsby signed called Omar Koroma.
