I have chosen too deploy an attacking formation to escape the championship.Gaston Fernandez cemented his place alonside Chris Wood after they imperessed in pre- season. Both Alan Smith and Vieri will have too make do with a place on the bench for now!

cheers mate its my first one so dont really know what im doing but ill update later

Good luck I will follow as I did a WBA story! It is easy enough to get out of the championship but I must admit that is the most attacking formation I have seen :O Will be interesting to see how it works out. Not to sure about smith I think the money could have been spent else where but I suppose time will tell. :D

Christian Vieri and Alan Smith sound lethal :) Good luck, don't let me down lol

You blatently won your first game as your top of the league ;)

Campaign under way

A tough first fixture was Newcastle at the hawthorns. At the pre match conference Allen expected a tough match but gave his team a good chance of coming away with a result

This was a simply outstanding result. Fernandez ran the show and vieri came on too complete the rout, what a start!

superb result! I think the Baggies fans will be threat with goals this year at both ends ;)

Played lol, more than one game an update would be better to read though to be honest.

The Newcastle game was followed up with a set of good results

WBA 2 - 0 Wycombe (lge cup round one)
Good win for the lads but hard faught, it took extra time but the players may just have been tired after the newcastle game. Alan Smith came in for Dorrans who was away with scotland and opened his account for me and Slory came off the bench to score the second

Forrest 3 - 2 WBA
Poor performance from a tired team. Vieri came in to the starting line up but didnt impress. On a brighter note 2 more goals for Fernandez who is firing on all cylinders!

Peterborough 0 - 0 WBA
A poor game with few chances had me wondering whether i was applying the wrong tactics? After the match manager Dan Allen stated he was unhappy with the performance but reassured fans that it was early and the team were still able too challenge for promotion.

WBA 3 - 1 Ipswitch
A nice home win too go with a great performance. Simon *** came back into the lineup and repayed my faith by scoring an impressive hatrick. After the match Allen stated that *** produced a performance of the highest quality.

A decent start too the season sees WBA 6th in the table with 7 points out of a possible 12
