west brom second season

i am now managing west brom second season.have 20 an mill pounds. i am palyed on small database with england (EPL,Championship n league one) n france (Ligue 1 n 2) database.Im now in october.
my squad is:

Yann Sommer , Joe Lewis , Boaz Myhill
RB:
Kyle Walker , Billy Johnson
CB:
Arne Friedrich,Ryan Shawcross,Gabriel Tamas,Craig Dawson,Kurt Zouma(had him cause Raikan mentioned him )
LB:
Joe Mattock,Kyle Naughton
MC:
Michael Essien,Chris Brunt,Darron Gibson,Marco Verratti,George Thorne,Steven Reid
AMR:
Peter Odemwingie,Emir Bajrami
AMC:
Glyfii Sigurdsson,Tom Cairney,John Morrisson
AML:
Graham Dorrans,Siphiwe Tshabalala
ST:
Wilfried,Shane Long,Chris Wood
I played 4-2-3-1 formation.
2 mc is bwm defend n 1 mc if chris brunt cm support if verratti is dlp support
2 amr n aml is inside forward attacking. Amc ap attack

Now I have some problem:
1.I never buy Marco Verratti so in this save I buy him. I placed him in dlp support role. He's like 6.97 average ratting. so how do i do to make he's magic showed????
2.Peter Odemwingie didn't well for me this second season. Last season he's out 6months for injury.I want sell him.So I have some plan
a.Take Chris Brunt to his role (amr if attack) , played Marco Verratti in his role so that's including no 1 question
b.I saw Pedro(Barcelona) n Adam Johnson transfer listed. If I want sign either this two who is the best???
c.I buy Ruben Rochina then placed him in Peter role.
d.Any other suggestions???
3.I want strenghent my squad but not take radical sell players.Maybe in third or four seasons i do the transfers. Any suggestions???

How did you get Essien? Buy which ever of Johnson or pedro is cheaper. Both are really good. I'd suggest a lb. Jose angel,Martin ollson(sp)(plays at Blackburn) or aly cissoko.
a better cb to pair with Shawcross. Maybe the cb musaccachio from Villarreal.
i suggest a better striker if you afford to get one and I'd sell shane long.
id also bring in some regens.

i did that , and report say he play best in deep lying playmaker support role
maybe next season he will play best

he is transfer listed by chelsea,johnson is cheaper (about 5-7m),yes lb isn't great enough,cb is too,striker i would try ruben rochina.
