West Ham advice

This is my west ham team and they where brilliant through my first seasin with them but i have just started my second season and they are under performing in which i cannot understand because i have been playing the same formation and the same sqaud apart from 2 new signing including Freddy Adu,Lukas fabianski (on loan) and Robert Huth. in my first season i finished 5th which i thourght was good for west ham but i am 12 games into my second season and are 16th just above the relegation zone (underacheiving for the sqaud i have) Please help:
