West Ham - New Game - Advice

Hello everybody. I've been living in New York for the last two years and I have just came back to England to live. I havent played Football Manager since 2009 and I have just bought Football Manager 2011 because I really missed it while I lived away. I'm going to start a new game with West Ham and before I do I just wanted to know if there is anything I should know and has anybody had any expirence with West Ham or have any tips for me as I havent managed them before.

Do I need to make any new signings?
Do I need to get rid of anybody?
What is the best formation to use?
Do I need any new staff?
