Breaking News: Time for a Change!

I've been playing Football Manager for a long time and I've always enjoyed taking charge of clubs that aren't doing so well despite having a lot more potential in their squad. West Ham are one of those clubs this season. Even without transfers, I believe the squad can do much better and that's what I'm trying to prove. Please follow me on this journey and together we'll see where we can take this club.​

Squad Review

I believe we have a decent squad to make a difference this season, let's we have a detailed look.

Goalkeepers

Polish veteran Fabiański will be my first choice throughout the league. Areola is not a bad option at all and I'm planning to give him time in cup and Conference League matches.

Left-backs

Vice captain Cresswell and Emerson are capable of being a starter player. Both of them will play regularly.

Right-backs

Coufal is the obvious first choice. Johnson will get some time in tight schedule.

Centre-backs

Kehrer and Zouma will play regularly, sadly we won't be able to use Aguerd for a long time because of his injury.

Midfielders

Our captain and most valuable player Declan Rice will be the first name written on the board.

Souček is a solid option for box to box position.

Paqueta, Lanzini and new transfer Scott will play the key role for pass ball into our forward players.

Wingers

I especially expect a lot from Benrahma and Bowen, both will be play regularly.

Forwards

I have a faith in Scamacca and Ings will be very efficient in the six yard area. I have tried to sell Antonio but he refused multiple offers and now injuried for a long time, looks like we stuck with him.

New Face in Training Ground!

I needed a young, talented new face with a great potential for midfield. Alex Scott fits definiton perfectly. 10 million pound swept our budget however I'm not planning to make any other signing.

Results are much more better than I hoped for in friendly matches.

I can't imagine a better season start. Totally dominated our rival in the London derby and started the season with a 3 point.

Honeymoon is over. First loss and Emerson out for 2 weeks because of injury.

This could be our chance to get revenge from Chelsea or early goodbye to a trophy.

What the ....?! I'm glad we won the goal frenzy but not happy about conceding 3 goals from 4 shots on target.

Our position at the table is way better than I expected. Manchester City started very bad but I'm sure they will bounce back.

One Defender Out...

Ogbonna's contract was due to expire at the end of the year and he wasn't really in my plans.

...One Defender In

Šutalo will replace Ogbonna. He will be a fine addition to our defender rotation.

We acted quickly and made the deal while Atletico was also interested in him.
