What’s your minimum star rating for shortlisting

I am not talking about young players but older players 24+. What minimum amount of gold stars should a player have before you shortlist him? I ask cuz I was short listing everybody including the grounds keeper, in my first year. Now I need to make my SL manageable. I am playing Roma.

3 star for me

3.5 stars usually for me.

2.5 stars if they are still improving, other than that, 3 stars

Doesn't matter, If they have good stats and play the position I need I buy them - shortening the shortlist comes down to budget vs price.

In the Russian league, since you have to have so many Russian born players, and many of them suck, I have used a system where 2 star min for Russians, 3.5 typically or higher for non-Russians.

3 starts. It used to be 3 and a half but theres a real lack of quality regens on my current save
