Hi, I'm starting a new stroy on England, I'll be playing some games on it tonight, as well as tomorrow. Wish me luck!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fabio Capello has been forced out of the England job after a serious bust-up with assistant manager Stuart Pearce. Less that 24 hours after the sacking, England have appointed unknown English rookie Tony Procter as the new man to take the clube to a new level.

When interviewed about the new job, Tony said
My main aim is to get the club to the World Cup safely, and hopefully reach at least the Quarter-Finals with them, anything else would be a big calamity.

Tony will soon be naming his squad for the first friendly against Holland. He knows how tough this match will be, insisting
I hope we can do well against Holland, but I wouldn't be to dis-heartend if we don't, they're a very good team and I think they will be one of the hot favourites for the WC in South Africa.

.....better OP mate if you want to attract people, lets see how ur layout and stuff is

Thanks for the good luck wishes mate. I appreciate that.

I'm not going to bother with any screenshots I don't think, but I'm sure the story will see alot better when the actual games start.

Holland 1-1 England
Dirk Kuyt (46), Frank Lampard (37)
In a game of many chances, the teams deservedly came out level. Frank Lampard opened the scoring with a powerful shot from the edge of the area, slotted right into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper no chance. Dirk Kuyt replied for Holland with a header from point blank range to give Holland a well earned draw.

With both teams in the top 10 of the rankings, the football was of very high quality. England just edge the posession by 5%, but it's the result what counts, and it didn't go Englands' way,

Good layout there for the Holland game, big improvement on the OP. Keep going!

Thanks mate, all games will be layed out like that from now on. Slovenia up next...

England 2-0 Slovenia
Jermaine Defoe (34)
Wayne Rooney (58)

Goals from Jermaine Defoe and Wayne Rooney was enough to hand England a convincing win over a mediocre Slovenia team at Wembley. England had the chances to score many more, but unfortunatley they were unable to. The England manager should be delighted that the Defoe/Rooney partnership is working, after tinkering with it in the last two games.

Croatia will be the next visitors to Wembley on Wednesday, and should England win they will get themselves a place in the World Cup.

England 2-0 Croatia
Wayne Rooney (22)
Wayne Rooney (44)

A Wayne Rooney double was enough to send England to South Africa this summer. Rooney openend the scoring in the 22nd minute with a header from point blank range after a lovely ball in from Frank Lampard. His second goal was much better, however, as he siezed on some diabolical defending from Croatia to hammer in a wonderful 25 yard strike. Croatia had many chances to get back into the game, but they couldn't convert.

In other news, England have arranged a friendly in Slovakia in November this yeat.
