I have played fm10 for a few months now. Ipswich are my favourite team, and i have played in 3 different careers with them. Every time i have ended up under-acheiving and getting sacked. I take into account tactics, and the tactics i use are suitable to the opposition. My signings are players usually better than the ones i already have, and i look at specific attributes to find a suitable target. E.g a midfielder with good tackling, work rate, and passing. I'm not claiming to be amazing at the game, but most people tell me of how they take ipswich up first season. People keep telling me to just keep playing so that i learn about it, but its frustrating to keep losing. Anyone got any ideas what i could be doing wrong? I cant really tell, unless im just being extremely unlucky.

p.s. Is it better to change alot of tactics and instructions for the game? sometimes i change them to adapt to the team i'm playing, and it completely backfires.

let your team settle to 1 taatcic then maybe changhe for a bigger oppennent the put your team back to the tactic you were playing b4 and make sure your team harmony is ok

ok thank you, are there any particular ways you can keep them in harmony? or is it just by playing them together frequently

put your board expectations down at the start and dont change your tactics for each game unless it is a minor tweak

increase squad harmony by winning games, praising players when they play well etc

Yeh, don't sign players for the sake of quality, when I started, and sometimes still now, I make the dreadful mistake of signing players who create rifts in the team, and have to send them out on loa.. Personality comes before skill.

ok thanks guys. Any ideas on good signings for ipswich first season?
