Managing Hull and in second season...

Newcastle have made a £16m (£7m upfront) bid for Abel Hernandez on DEADLINE DAY. Although my best striker, he is replaceable.

I managed to negotiate a deal for Benfica's Rodrigo for £6m as he's unhappy and would be cheaper on the wages than Hernandez. Although better technically and a year younger, Rodrigo doesn't have as good mental and physical attributes as Hernandez.

Do I sell Hernandez to a rival and buy Rodrigo, or just keep him?? Who turns out better?

Quick reply would be useful so I can get on playing :)

EDIT: OMG... just realised Rodrigo's agent owns 80%!!! of him and is demanding £20m so forget about it! If I do sell Hernandez, who should I replace him with? Roughly £7-10m to spend.

Alberto Paloschi did a good job for me at West Ham in 2016 - 2018, fairly cheap, got over 20 goals each season

Must agree Paloschi has been on of the best players i've ever used on any FM

Ended up keeping Hernandez in the end. Couldn't find a suitable replacement without having my pants pulled down over the price. I will take these names (especially Paloschi who looks like a beast!) into the January window.
