what does "not loading players" exactly mean?

well with 11.3 i decided to start a new game, as always, at the start i get to choose countries, something I realized is that im never sure about what countries to choose and which not because im just not sure about what loading players exactly mean; will not selecting some countries prevent me from seeing players that play in those respective countries? how does it exactly affect the game besides making it faster? (players missing, etc.)

You still see the most obvious players but the hidden talents are locked away from you if you don't use that specific country.

Example: if you don't use Brazil you don't see the best staff on FM (not that you'll ever sign them)
