What is cup tied?

Can anyone tell me what is cup tied?

In a cup (League Cup for example), say Drogba plays for Chelsea in this. If you sign Drogba in say January, and your still in the League Cup, he becomes CT as he has already played in this with another team.

players get registered in tournements to one team....... (except leagues)

players get registered once played in a cup game e.g fa cup... champ league

players can only be register to one club per comp per season....
