For FM2009 yes. But FM Live is some rubbish standalone game that you need to subscribe too.

It's fun for a while, until you get over the excitement and all the huge flaws come out in force

Yeh i played the beta, got bored quickly as youre semi forced to play when the game wants you to and not when you wanna play.

It's alright as a community sort of game but it's far from a true FM game.
In the start you basically start off with very limited management possibilities. You are limited to just sending 11 players out on the pitch and hope for a good performance. To be able to use and modify your own tactics at all you need to learn the tactical skills, which takes months learning all of it.
