You cant go wrong with 4-4-2 in my opinion,especially in England.

4-4-2 works best in England, but tbh mate, there is no best formation, the best formation is just what is better for your team, e.g strengths etc.

There isn't a best formation, you have to look at your squad and create a formation around your players. Not the other way around.
