Would you guys recommend playing with a ball winning midfielder defend and a box to box midfielder in central midfield. I am playing as Arsenal with a 4231 formation and I have Daniel Di Rossi and Alex Song and Gokan Inler all competing for the center midfield position. I have read that the best combination is a destroyer and passer combination in midfield. I don't think that Daniel Di Rossi attributes match does of a deep lying playmaker. I could go with two box to box midfielders but I am a bit concern that I might leave gaps at the back. I would really like to hear feedback from the tactical gurus please.

I have also read that in a 4231 formation that the midfield is the important part of the formation so I really need to ensure that my central midfield has the right quality of players.

I have also moved Jack Wilshere to the right wing to play as an advance playmaker - attack to take advantage of is creative skills, because I feel that he is not strong enough for the midfield battle

Yes Ball Winning Midfielder and a Box-to-box work perfectly together, although I myslef use the box one as the playmaker not a right winger cause he has much more space, but that's just me...
