Just beginning my search for scouts, are adaptibility, judging player ability and judging player potential the three that count?

I only bother with judging potential and current ability, as I usually only use scouts for reports.

For me, Adaptability (only really needed if they are scouting outside your country), Determination, Judging Player Potential, Judging Current Ability.

Also if you have one scout dedicated to scouting opponents, Tactical Knowledge is probably a good idea.

Thanks for the help.

My scouts are now:

Nito
Antonio Soriano
Jack Karadas
Arkaitz Mota
Cesare Maldini
Frui Valcareggi
Fabio Paratici
Soren Lerby
Sixto Alfonso
Gonzalo Martinez Olivares
Carlos Paniza
Robert Bettega

I have removed Zinedine Zidane, although he is on £1 p/w PT, he is a useless waste of space and his attributes are neither spectactular and also it means I exceed the recommended 12 scouts :)

if you use a scout to watch your next opponent he should have high tactical knowledge as mentioned earlier.

If two scouts are equal in JPA and JCA, I'll go for the guy with higher determination and adaptability. I figure those two stats help him gain knowledge of foreign lands easier.

may sound a silly question but what part dose the reputation of a scout play? i have found a scout with jpa and jca and adaptability all at 19 yet his reputation is only local. yet one with a lot lower attributes is reputation world class?
