What tactics do i use!?!?

Alright, im man city. im just after my 1st season and i finished 2nd. they have now expected me to win the league this season. i am now currently just waiting for the 1st game. the thing is, over the summer i bought quite a few players. My current team is

I am thinking about a 4-1-1-3-1 formation with tev up front and gorcuff supporting. i also have van der vaart, ireland, swp, garay, kompany, srna and zabeleta on the bench. any ideas on gow to play them effectively??
