Seriously this is getting annying.. They just can't put a shot on target, like 90% of my shots come inside the box but they still shoot it 50 yards off the goal, fr christ sake in my last game, they managed to put 2 shots from inside the box into the SIDELINES!!! But yeah when my opponents get a shot they always place it perfectly.. What the ****?

Review Tactic, Team Instruction, and Player Instructions. Also see that your players finishing is of quality, along with composure, and technique. Finally, talk to your players, after a bad game private chat with them and tell them they were missing to many shots on goal or something similar to this. (make sure its a bad game though, don't do it if they missed a lot, but got a good rating, they will likely react poorly).

I mean i really fdon't know what else i can improve, 25 shots, 7 CCC's but my 2 goals come from 1 penalty and 1 free kick, at this point i think the game is just trolling me

You still won, and had 9/25 shots off target, while 13 were saved, and the rest of woodwork. Seems fair to me. Only thing I can think of is change your strikers( like i said above, finishing, technique, and composure are all important). You could try to train your current strikers to learn PPM such as places shots, or shoots with power, etc.

It may look like it's your strikers but don't forget it's a video game. Especially if you re the stronger team the game has to have a way to show that your tactics are a bit off and that's how it comes out.

You think 13 saves is fair? Really? In real life, goalkeepers will hardly ever make that amount of saves in a single match but in FM14, I've found it to be quite common. Even when I win, it's quite frustrating to see 2 star keepers constantly make amazing saves against my 3½ to 4 star strikers

Yes it seems fair. Also, a two star goalie may be better than the two stars, as its based on a comparison to your own team, and based on your scouts/assistant's "Judging Ability".
Also a 3 1/2 to 4 star striker might be *****, as i said before, its based on your team compared to the league and your own team, based on scouts/assistant.

As long as you win, it shouldn't matter how many shots you have, you are still winning right? Also use the advice given. Train/Tutor PPM, work on Technique, Finishing, Composure, etc.

Winning isn't the point really. If I have 13 shots on target with 5 CCC then I expect to convert at least one of them into a goal. I am well aware of how the star system works, but if a goalkeeper is rated 2 stars in comparison to my 3.5 star or 4 star striker with high finishing and composure then I don't think it's unreasonable to expect him to struggle to keep shots out. In my opinion, only the best goalkeepers in the world should be able keep out that many shots from top strikers.

I love this game but to me it seems that the more shots on target there are, the more likely it is that the goalkeeper will turn into a god (regardless of his actual ability). I've noticed this for both myself and the AI.
