I'm currently on a save in 2023/24 season and managing Feyenoord, won the league twice with them, the Dutch Cup and got to the final of the CL the first time of asking. I'm getting pretty bored of Feyenoord because I'm just winning every single game I play but I have a couple of youngsters I'm bringing up and I've just sorted out my backroom staff.

I REALLY want to manage in England and take a team to the premiership but I don't want to start too low, League 2 would be a good start, but there aren't currently any jobs listed there.. A team of their caliber is never going to approach me because of my success (^_^) so would it be worth applying for a job in that league and risking my reputation?

Don't say "It's up to you" because I know that, but I wouldn't have made this thread then would I? I'd just like to see what you would do in my position.

See, now that's why I posted here! XD, I didn't think about that lol.

And with a resume like that, I'd be looking at low to mid Prem, not League 2. At least high Championship.

But yeah, declaring interest is a good way to go about it.

But my history looks bare with no promotions :( XD 8 cups, 2 leagues, 0 promotions. Gonna check out a high-ish Championship side.

I'd resign from Feyenoord if I were you, then you should easily find a job.

After you resign just declare interest in any insecure job, sometimes the chairman sacks his manager and offers you the position, that's how I got my QPR job :D

they dont look at your promotion record.. it goes off your reputation. i finished my 'hall of fame' career with schalke, liverpool and valencia. ran out my contract at valencia after dominating world football and took the exeter job in the blue square south. 3 years later, back in the league and i went to porto to see out the rest of my career, got bored and retired LOL.

I'd take any recently relegated (from Prem) team if I were you. It may not have an effect on your Hall of Fame score, but it's a nice challenge. I'm a Newcastle fan, and I loved getting Newcastle back to the top flight on FM10.
