One of the players I signed in the last window was unhappy because he'd not had a first team appearance, or even been on the bench. To be honest I almost forgot I'd signed him!

So, I had a private chat with him and basically said that you have to wait for your chance, he got really annoyed and is now on very poor morale and whenever I try to speak to him he says he doesn't have the patience to speak with me because our relationship has broken down.

Afterwards I checked out his stats and after looking at the form of the two other players I'd been playing in his position, decided he'd actually be worth a run in the first team. So now, I have him playing with very poor morale and probably about to ask to leave the club.

This all happened a few nights ago when I was playing FM at something like 1 or 2 in the morning so I was being really impatient and dopey and making bad decisions (but still winning matches :D)

Any way, how can I get this player happy and talking to me again? I don't want his poor morale to rub off on any of my other players who are all generally very happy (top of the league all season! :D)

The easy way out would be to sell him as I got him on a free any way, but I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of all that.

Thanks :)

erm..first of all you never ignore any players requests! So...just play him more and get him into first team games more often and maybe he will be more happy. Another way to do this is offer him a new contract! Is it a slight problem or a major problem? Slight problems can easily be removed by contracts. Major ones are kinda hard to get rid of.
