1st of all , sorry if theres already a thread for this , i searched but didnt find any , so lock it or delete it and link me to another thread if there already is one.

Basically what im looking for is a league that you would consider a low league compared to the Premier League/ La Liga , but is still a Nations Best League.

I'd rather not have a one of the big Leagues , EPL , La Liga etc.

Let me have your opinions :)

I was going to try that ,
It would also extend my knowledge of dutch footballers , have never really played outside the EPL for a serious game , want to change that.

ligue 1 - france
and the top league of portugal is very good to play in, be sporting cp

The Russian or Belgian I've had good experiences of these leagues. In 08 I ended up dominating Russia with Tom Tomsk before I moved to Valencia. I won 2 Russian Leagues a Russian Cup and a UEFA cup in 4 seasons! Then on 09 with Charleroi of Belgium I got a mid table finish 1st season and came 3rd second season losing in the final of the belgian cup before my save got corrupted. There the only small foreign leagues I've played in.

Ok thanks Guys , Good responses so far,

At the minute i favour a Belgian , Russian or Portugal League.

Dutch league can be quite a challenge with smaller teams like Twente, Groningen, Heerenveen

I took once took FC Utrecht when i was doing my International Managerial Career for awhile but didnt play it for long , so i might try it with one of the teams mentioned above.

The SPL can be a bit boring since its a 2 horse race unless you improve one of the other teams , i've only played it once with Celtic.

Portugese, Russian, Argentinian and maybe even Croatian??? thats good if your dinamo zagreb and have mandzukic and kovac :)

I would go with an Argentine team but the thing is they dont have any compititions like Europa League , Championsleague do they? How about the turkish league?

turkeys always goin to be challengin:\ and in argentina they do have a champions league with the whole of north/america - copa libradores or somethin:)? and in the spl, since im scottish, fair enough it is a bit of a 2 horse race:\ but a good challenge would be to break into the top 2 with lets say hearts- while always competeing for that europa league place:) its your choice though mate:)

Yeah Turkey is a good one. I've been to a couple of matches over there, Ankaraspor-Gazientepspor and Ankaraspor-Trabzonspor. My uncle has a house over in Ankara as he does a lot of business over there and i've took Ankaraspor under my wing as my Turkish side or even my 2nd side. There is a few good teams over in Turkey obviously Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are the main ones but if you want a challenge I would advise Ankaraspor they are terrific lol!

Has to be Germany or the championship...two of the most open leagues out there

Thanks , I think i'll go for Turkey , Belgium or Germany. Haven't really done much managing there.

Try the Irish league? It's like league 1/ low championship level and is actually quite fun if you play with one of the newly promoted teams.
