I'm new to FM and wondering which areas I should focus on more than others, thanks.

mine (tony coton) has good determination and man management. he's been with me for 3 years and he's good

I got Dave Watson in 2010/11 and still have hime in 2017/2018.

I read somewhere that man management and tactical knowledge are important for Assistant Manager. I guess determination, motivation and discipline are important too.

Worth a look at media-handling style too, because after a few seasons the interviews become boring.

Man Management, Working with youngsters, motivation, discipline, determination & tactical knowledge...

some examples - Tony Coton (great *** man and 5 star GK coach), COlin Cooper (great *** man and turns out to be a 5 star defence coach in 5 seasons), johan neeskens (great *** man)

If you want good reports in your team roster screen, you should also look for current / potential evaluation skills

in my arsenal save, mines is Steve Round. snapped him once Pat rice retired in 2013.

good with tactics. got good ratings for tactical instructions and like the defending style coach

1) tactical knowledge
2) man management
3) motivating
4) determination
5) judging players PA
6) disclipline
7) one coaching attribute (attacking, defending, tactical)
