When i was 7-8 months old,my dad had heard a few rumours the eric cantona maybe retiring.He said, and i quote, to my uncle,"he can't live his life without witnessing the king".So the next day i was whisked to Highfield Road, Coventry to see David Busst's testimonial, as far as i know i slept through it, and cantona didn't do much. So although i consider this to be the best player i've seen, its not the best performance i've seen.
As a united fan, i've been lucky to see the likes of messi,raul,figo and maldini aswell as united greats such as beckham, scholes, giggs, ronaldo,van nistelrooy and the great luke chadwick.
But the single best performance in one match i have seen has to be 'fat' ronaldo vs us in the 2003 champions league semi final.He was simply unstoppable.
so what's the best individual performance you've ever seen?
