Whats up with all these injuries?

I just started up my first FM15 classic mode game, and im getting at least 1 injury per friendly match b4 the beggining of the season.

Is it normal to get these many injuries ? or am i just being unlucky ? (i have like 5 key players injured 1 week away from the start of the regular season)

5 players injured isn't out of the ordinary. The key thing is not to over or under train them and to not overplay them in the friendlies when they're notfully match fit.
