Where has my FM gone? HELP

Yesterday when i got football manager, i installed it as you do and played away. When i came on this morning i couldnt find it and when i put the disk in nothing tends to happen.

No, but im trying to find how to uninstall it, then install it via steam

There isn't a shortcut in the start menu? If you are using Win7 you can just use the search feature in the start menu. Just type in 'Football' or something.

I have the same problem, except i'm on Vista and i installed it via CD and cannot via Steam... any help?
