Where have all the magic players gone?

Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place, (first post).

I was wondering where all the young/cheap prospects are?
If anyone played FM2008, they might remember Bogdan Stancu, Gabriel Torje, Mika Aaritalo & Pablo Piatti. All these players could be bought for under £250k and had the potential to play at the highest level. I signed them for pretty much every club I managed because they were such good value.

However I have't been able to find any on FM12, I've brought in some players with potential but they are far from ready to play any first team football in my Sheffield United squad.

So simply I was wondering if I'd missed them in FM12, or do they in-fact not exist?

you wil have to load the large database to find them. but most of the mentioned players are not wonderkids anymore ecept from torje from udinesse he turns out good!

I know they're not wonderkids really any more, I was looking for there current equivalents in the new game. You used to be able to get them for really cheap and they could come straight into your team, but I feel like I can no longer find that sort of player. Thanks though

I don't think you understand, I don't want to know where those players are now, I was using them as an example of cheap players on previous games.

Stancu and Piatti were absaloute gods, I know what you mean though, all the good youngsters on 12 seem to cost serious money :/

There are still good & cheap players around however,you have to move fast to get them at the start of the game,the only problem for me is Ronald Koeman (Feyenoord manager),does that guy want every f....g player in the game?!!..and those agents..over 100k agent fee for a 300k player..WTF oO)
