For a game this size, I'm surprised there isn't a massive modding community.
Sure, we've got graphics, tactics and shortlists, but nothing major.

When you look at other modding communities, I just feel like Football Manager is being wasted - in terms of potential.

SI, give us an amazing game each year, but never a perfect game, and that's what I think we should change together.

Who's keen to mod FM for new features and better match engines?

To be fair mate, if any of us here were good enough at designing and coding propability engines, you'd be working at SI on this game, not modding it. All of the things you mentioned, graphics, tactics, shortlists, ect are part of a vibrant modding scene but things like new features and resesigning the ME are far beyond the level of anyone doing this for a hobby.

Probably one of the biggest players in the community is LFCMarshall and his bi-yearly transfer updates. That completely changes the game and makes it far more realistic in many peoples opinions.

I'm not trying to negate the good work people do, lol.

Just when you look at other games and you see long lists of mods that change the gameplay totally (make it better).

You become a little bit curious as to why FM doesn't have the same thing, lol.

Because the ME code is going to be protected so that it doesn't get copied by rivals, so it's pretty much impossible to get access to the actual code.

It's the same thing with the other features really. People mod what they're able to mod in any game. On FM, that means graphics/logos.
