Which mentality to choose?

Hi Managers,
I'm not a good tactician and this is the reason why I want your help. My question is very simple. What mentality do you play with when you are at:
1. Home
(a) Strongly Favourite
(b) Slight Favourite
(c) Underdogs
2. Away
(a) Strongly Favourite
(b) Slight Favourite
(c) Underdogs

I asked this question because I've felt that sometimes even being a very strong favourite at home, the opponent plays better and even wins. Whether I play standard, counter or control, the opposition plays better. and their goal scoring chances are awesome just like Barca's tiki-taka under Guardiola.

What will you recommend if I'm Arsenal at home against Stoke City and favourite in odds or I'm Arsenal away to Swansea with slight favourite odds.

Yeah I play the same mentality for every game. I generally play attacking for every game and sometimes tweak the shape or instructions

If it wasn't very successful, I wouldn't keep on doing it.

Mentality is less important that than actual tactic within it. I also change something in a match if it is needed.
