Which new game would you find best choice?

Now that I've found TT&F, had some advice from that other thread, I feel like I've done a jump to a higher quality playing, which leads me to think it's time to call an end to my currently ongoing game with Portmouth (heh, just now that it was starting to work).

I have in mind four options, to which I'll add a fifth:

A) Start the journeyman game I have set up.

B) Get Nottingham Forest, because somewhere I heard they're in danger of disappearance.

C) Get Crewe Alexandra and try get them to the top.

D) Manage my hometown team, for which I have the savegame as after first season they got promoted to spanish 2B.

E) Some other idea you may find special.

Hehe Leeumoconnor, I know and I plan to do that. Either when I find a game compatible with my daily schedule or when I get my hands to put a game together.

It's like any game that you can play against people. People is more fun to play with than AI, which usually ranges from stupid to far too stupid to describe. Though luckily, so far it seems FM is out of that range, at least for my current level.

So, excluding online game, which I'll get my hands on sooner or later regardless...

Hm... Journeyman winning by one vote.

Considering there votes for a single team I'm tempted to declare Crewe as winner, though anyway I have set both games and playing a little into each one.

Crewe still has to be started, it's just saved after the setup had been done.

The journeyman is in july, from a december (2007) start, having taken Braintree's offer (BSS), I think I should have gone for the south african team instead. Braintree's a part time squaddies, with economical trouble, poor players and is cancelling half my signings once the wage budget has been reached. Played the first friendly against a BSP team, winning by a 2-1, which would say look good, but every season for me is the same (though still to know what once I've assimilated the TT&F and getting the gist with some advice from you guys, with special mention to Zebedee, thanks!): wonderful pre-season, grand first league match, and then performance dropping like a rock.

Asked the board to increase wages, without much hope after huge losses being announced (might be FM wrong in taking the first half year expenses without compensating for the no league played part?) and indeed was rejected. Now I'm awaiting their answer, that they'll study, about getting a parent team.

Later I'll play the first days with Crewe.

Perhaps it's better play the Crewe game first then start a journeyman, for two reasons:

1 - Crewe can be my reacquaitance with sides below Premier (I had experience taking Rushden from league 2 to league 2 on FM05) and a "bridge" game before starting the journeyman in the depths of football.

2 - A Crewe game can be shorter than a journeyman, so I might get to play both (before I get to buy a new FM version, not necessarily the next one).

i voted crewe since that crewe is my home team i am gettin a season ticket 4 the alex but i wud sell calvin zola he is awful even in real life
