I was wondering who do you think are the most average Prem team the smaller teams are not neccesarily the most average for example Charlie Adam and Varney and the likes for Blackpool makes the team not average as some players are great others are average and others are terrible.IMO Man Utd are the most average i know they have some stand out players but for a team that gets so much success they are very average

You realise you don't just have to make threads for the sake of it?

I wasnt making a thread for the sake of it i done this as a way to see what team i could use to try to replecate Uniteds success from what people replied!

I suppose everyone will have a different opinion of an average team. IMO I see what you mean with United but I don't agree. United have one of the best goalkeepers in the league, arguably the best CB partnership in the prem, one of the best leftbacks in the world, two of the best wingers in the prem and two of the best strikers in the prem/world. Also United have one of the best managers ever.

I think Liverpool have a very average team atm.

I agree Liverpool are quite average at the moment but the signing of Suarez and the sale of Torres i feel is a big step in the right direction for them

I think the most average team are Wigan. They have no players that stand out really, maybe apart from N'Zogbia. However, I think that another average team could be West Ham. They have the same quality throughout their whole team, but just can't perform to the level we would all expect.

With the exception of Scott Parker surely, who has been anything but average this season. I can't see United being described as average, i think Stoke are the best example of an average side.

I'd say Wolves TBH, they have a great squad but they can't perform in games as they have the play but the finishing is always so bad! They pass so good and control the ball and cross etc but when it comes to scoring, headers, volleys. They never go in :/

They are all good examples I think out of all of them Sunderland although they are average on their day they're very strong for the players they have

This thread is awful, you can tell who is the best/worst team over the season by looking at the table, generally the 'average' Prem teams will be the ones that aren't in European spots and are avoiding the relegation zone.

/thread.
