I've read that many people say that you can't use one tactic whilst still remain consistent and still winning championships in FM14, I decided to give it a go as in previous editions of football manager I predominantly tried to use the same tactic and here is how I got on:

As you can see from the attachments in my first season I won the community shield, the fa cup, the premier league and the champions league. I have also attached the transfers I did at the start and end of the season.

No I don't, as I'm using a very fluid philosophy I believe telling players what to do would go against this.

Could you post some screenshots of individual match stats? To get an idea of the CCC's and possession.

I managed to win league and league cup with one tactic, but I've found that the wheels tend to come off in the second season when the opponent knows alot more about how you play.

In response to your opening post, Michael - and as the author of the thread entitled http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot...ics/158222-you-need-more-than-one-tactic.html - I'd be much more impressed if you had won all these trophies during your first season with some club other than the reigning Premier League champions (...when FM14 was released in November; Manchester United's poor recent season under David Moyes having not been a factor in SI's coding).

I mean to be constructively critical here, rather than offering an invitation to a flame war*, but you made an assertion in your opening post that is directly oppositional to previous posts of my own (I am one of those "many people" to whom you refer) and that I would contend is only valid when choosing to play as Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona or some other already established member of European football's elite.

With a large squad already packed to the rafters with international players, a starting transfer budget of 45-million, the significant increase to that amount earned by selling Wayne Rooney, and all those players that your club's riches and already established Worldwide reputation enabled you to attract in Year 1, I'm not surprised you cleaned up.

But those of us who advocate a more detailed or clever tactical approach to FM14 make the assumption that users are going to set themselves more of a challenge than to effectively select the game's easy mode, where you don't have to overcome the biggest teams in domestic and European football - because you already ARE one!

Play the game however you want to, of course, but I'm sure you would accept that to challenge what others like myself have already written - essentially, in order to help other FMers who have been struggling
with the current edition of the game to get some kind of foothold on it - on the back of such a non-achievement invites a critical response.

*To prove my goodwill, and to reassure you and anyone else reading this that none of the above is intended as any kind of personal attack, here's a link to a zipped folder in my Dropbox containing logos and a working config for every club in England as of the start of FM14 - because I see from your screenshots that you still have the default shields in place:

I play 9 years (gametime) with 1 tactic, I buy players who fit my tactic and win almost everything.
I play with Sporting di Gijon and won 3 times the bbva, the eurocup, championscup, supercups, ...
Last season I played 38 matches, won 35, 2 draws and 1 lose. (I simply can't win against Real Madrid :P )
