Who the heck are Stockport Sports. To be honest I have got no idea at all.
I only found out that they existed today when i put the English lower leagues into my Fm15 game.
I was thinking of a new challenge that will keep me occupied for awhile and I thought why not choose a random team in the bottom league and see what i can do.
So they are predicted to come 5th in the NW Counties Premier division which has got 22 other teams.
Now I bet your thinking what kind of squad does he have to work with, so I'll show you

Yep with have a whole one player in this squad but he is apparently 5 star so you know the new messi here.
Now its time for the reason why i choose this team and its the attendance in the stadium.

Yep you saw that right we have got a capacity of 1000 people which is going to be nice and full by the time we get to the premier league.
Now the important part how good are the finances.

Some how we are in 40k debt. We are non league with one player how can we be in debt.

Yes i know that seems like a lot but i know that i'm going to be doing this save for a long time so i might as well plan ahead.

I shall be posting yearly updates as i prefer to play through the whole year before updates.

Good luck with this mate! I am currently doing a save with Crawley United, who are predicted 2nd bottom in the whole football league in level 24! Only done one season so far but its been really fun

I know I said I’ll be back in a year well I’m back half way through the season. So how have we coped with having no squad at the beginning? Time to check the table

Yeah somehow after 21 games we are now top of the English North West Counties Premier Division (What a mouthful). We had a great start to the campaign and have recently slipped up with a few injuries and red cards in top of the league games but we still hold a nice 8 point lead.
Now that’s not even the best bit let check out the cups
FA Cup

We started the cup in the FA Cup 2nd​ qualifying round and to somehow manage to get to the first round in a bottom league team I was extremely happy with the team.
FA Vase
This is another cup in which im extremely happy with, we are in the third round where we started in the second primarily round.
Now I bet your thinking after those cups runs how are my finances now well they look like this:

At the beginning of the season we were 40k in debt but now we are at a healthy 89k, I can’t wait to use some of this for new players. Time to see what I managed to make with only one original player

Yeah so I managed to sign nearly 20 players which are all of some quality and I got a few optional players that can stay with me till real league football.
I didn’t want to leave you in the dark about this so I thought ill update them on what is happening. Next update will be once the league has finished so look forward to that.​

So How Did We Do?​

As our first season with Stockport Sport is over and in January we where in 1st place in the league as well as being in the third round of the FA Vase did we manage to continue our runs?
Well first lets have a look at the table shall we?

So as you can see not only did we win the league but we destroyed it by winning by 12 points and we technically won the title with 5 games to go. If you told me at the beginning i could do this i wouldn't of believed you especially with my one player squad.
Now it is time to look at the FA Vase and see what the outcome of that was.

Well we got all the way to the final and ended up winning 4-0 which in my opinion was really impressive.

In the year i have been in charge I have completed one training course and am halfway through national license B (Im pretty sure i didn't have any qualifications when started).
So after winning the two competions I was left in how did that make our finances looks?

we are currently up by 60k but for some reason we are expected to lose 70k and from what i can see there is no reason to lose so much money.

This tactic was amazing and managed me to get through the league and cup very well, well above expected standards.

During the first year there was one amazing player who kept on putting in performance after performance and that was Richard Anane

His stats for this league are just amazing and i'm very disappointed he wont sign a new contract with my because of his dislike of me yet I have no reason why he hates me. That is why I have put him up for sale and he has some interest from a Vanarama Conference North team so hopefully i am able to get something instead of nothing.
My aims for next season is to stay in the league but hopefully i am able to get a respectful position and in dream world a playoff place.

yeah it does and the new league isn't that much better then the old one so maybe back to back promotion

This is just a small update about the first FA Cup match of the season and it was against Macclesfield in the vanarama north and to be honest i didn't expect nothing more then a small loss.

So I sent out a strong team to see what I could actually do against this team.

So this is what i managed to do

Season 2 : Halfway through

So we are halfway through the season, so it is time for the update on how we are doing in a new league. Before i show you the table I want to show you the odds of what we are predicted to come.

So being a newly promoted team I was expecting to come a lot lower then 7th but it seems the team is stronger then I thought but I was still going to be making a lot of changes to the team as i thought there was some changes that had to be made.

Now it is time to check out the people who are in and the people who are out

So unlike last season I actually had players i could allow to leave the club. All except Richard Anane i'm glad I got rid of them as they would just be taking up my wage budget. Darren Kelly is a major find and has been a rock at the back for us.

Yes we are actually top of the table. To be honest I have no idea how as compared to last season we are playing terrible but I am not going to be complaining about that.

Now the final part and what happened with the FA Cup

After that amazing victory over macclesfield we managed one more victory over another non league team called Rushall and then we lost 1-0 against nuneaton town which I am not all that bothered about as they are 2 leagues above us.


Now that all the updates are over with i shall be back once the league is over. I am not hoping to win the league I'm just trying to get promoted this season as it means we can be only one league away from being in actually league with another trophy we can compete for with the FA Trophy​
