I'm currently in January of my first season as Arsenal, I am overspending on wages and have no money. I'm challenging for top four so obviously I am thinking after the season is over I may want to sell some players to make way for better ones. Anybody been Arsenal and can recommend who to offload? I don't want to keep hold of players who don't develop for sentimental reasons

If you're overspending on wages and have no money you must have bought players. Post your current squad/tactic so we know what positions you need to strengthen (just started the my 10th season in charge with Arsenal)

I manage Arsenal in my long-term save too. I buy no players except some youth trialists. I recommend to sell Mesut Ozil, unless he does perfect job for you. For me, he is heavily underachieving. In Arsenal you could probably need good left natural Winget. I rotate there Podolski with Cazorla and they are aging (third season here) and looosing their precious skills.

GK- sczczesny, Costil
Def- S Jung, Gibbs, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Balanta, Subotic, de Vrij
Mid- Matuidi, Oxlade Chamberlain, Flamini, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rode, Walcott, Groskreutz, Schurrle, Cazorla, gnabry, Ozil
For- J Martinez, Wickham, Giroud, M Diouf

Flamini is now trained to play at Left WB and Groskreutz can play anywhere (pretty much).

I am in between first and second season and I have £27.1 million to spend with 198k per week left for wages

Sell all the deadwood (Arteta, Flamini, Diaby, Bentdner) Sell Giroud as well hes pretty hopeless, and make sure you play Ozil as a Tequestra trust me he is f**king amazing there

Flamini is good BWM. Giroud is fantastic TM, but must suit your tactic. Also, make sure you do not lose Zelalem, give him playing time and loan him carefully, he can turn into BEAST.

Anyway, lineup looks good.

Giroud 31 goals, 8 assists, 11 MoM in 45 appearances first season. Zelalem loaned out and Crawley getting odd chance in lesser matches. Have agreed a deal for Swansea LB Ben Davies, Ross Barkley and Okore of Villa. Not amazing signings but I'm a little concerned about players trained in England
