Why am I so inconsistent?

I'm Spurs and my team is so inconsistent. One week I beat Real 2-1 completely outplaying them then the next week losing 1-0 to Torquay in league 2. Literally:b46c0f78f06bc4c98c7d966120cc90b5.png. How can I stop this?

You're in pre-season playing friendlies.

Your team won't be familiar with your tactics and you may have new players who haven't bonded yet.

You'll become more consistent throughout the course of the season.
