Why are network games so slow?????

Hiya, every network game I have been involved in so slow if your not hosting, I love playing with another person but I have given up on it. Surely there must be a way to make it smooth and playable for both players, it is just unplayable unless I am hosting. I have broadband so I don't understand the problem, help me please, I think SI are a disgrace for designing network play so badly, they did it on purpose to make people buy FM Live.

It's to do with the host's internet speed. It does not matter if you have fast internet, and you're not the host, if the host has fast internet it will run faster. If he has slow internet it will be slower.

Also, the less players you have in the game will help the network game run faster.

Always to do with the host , if the host has a bad computer or low ram or bad connection u will suffer , if you are the host u wont suffer.
