Why do i keep losing...

Hello.
I've i just started my 2nd season with AC milan.
My first season went ok came on after Inter and got the EC.
But this season is really bad.. I keep losing games vs really low rep clubs ..
as far as i think this is not attack/midfielder problem it's all defense...
I have now 157m transfer budget but i don't know what should i buy..

i usually play 4-4-2 Diamond formation beacuse pato and borriello are no good in the air so i don't use wingers.
I really need some help here.
