Under Match Preparation I have my 4-2-1-2 tactic always set and during the pre-season I ensured it all got up to FLUID FLUID FLUID FLUID for everything.
We started off the season great. Now mid season during pre match meetings my assistants advise me to play against *** team @ a slower tempo and a wide width.
During the team selection screen I move the drop down to TEAM FORMATION and go to advanced and adjust the tempo and width for this game only.
Just before the next game I go back to Match Preparation and examine my same old
4-2-1-2 and I notice that TEMPO and WIDTH have dropped to awkward and TEMPO complacent ???
How do you combat this? Are you not supposed to adjust each game based on your assistants recommendation? The workload in match preparation is set to VERY LOW because I've read this is what you do after everything gets up to FLUID in the pre-season.
Or is it just that over time my players will become competent to all these adjustments ?
Am I suppose to train 3 seperate tactics using the same formation - one for normal width and tempo, one for narrow width and slow tempo, and one for wide width and fast tempo etc??
