Why does only one tactic work?

Why does only one tactic work in this game no matter what tteam i go only a 4-2-4 works where as i want to play a 4-3-3 but it just fails against teams in lower divisions?

I play 451 or 433, in Spanish Segunda B2. Both work fine.

I have been winning with 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 so far. Perhaps I'll give 4-2-4 a try.

stick to the tactic that works for half a season and get them training for the other tactics you want and they would stand a better chance of playing it

its pre-season and i am getting beat of my reserves and teams in lower leagues.....

have you done the basics like checking your actually putting defenders in defence?? have you given them individual instructions??
