Because you're just in it for the ''win''. You learn LITERALLY nothing. The tactic might work for you, but also if it doesn't (because you're a moron and download a tactic that doesn't suit your players at all) you complain.

3 major things that made FM so much more enjoyable for me are:

1. It's a marathon, not a race.
The first season should never be about results, but building a foundation of something.
2. Asking for help = WIN/LOSE. Doing it yourself = WIN/LEARN
Asking for advice is different than asking something to do it FOR YOU.
3. If you play to win, you will never win.

Now this sounds like a lot of overthinking and you might even say ''It's just a game'', but i enjoy this game and things i enjoy i try to make the best of and since the game becomes more and more complex each year and it's becoming VERY hard to just plug&play a system and win, win, win, win.

You might also wanna try this:

1. Start with your favorite club.
2. Slowly exchange the foreign/old players for regens from your own academy/bought at 16-17.
3. Build a ******* empire.

The first time i won a FINAL on FM with 11 homegrown players on the field was the best feeling i have ever had when playing this game.

Listen mate, I support Newcastle. We lose every other week. The last thing I want to do is come on FM and lose every other week on there aswell.

Did you ever think about the fact that there are people who are incapable of creating their own tactics? Not because they're stupid or anything, but simply because they are overwhelmed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it. Who are you to tell them what to do when they paid for a game using their own money? I come across the same old **** on the Hearthstone forums when people copy decks when they struggle badly.

There's also the fact that some people ask for help, and adjust the tactic anyway to suit them.

There's only one moron here and he's a judgemental idiot.

This is one of the best posts Ive seen on this forum. Good job Mr Jean-Luc (Picard?)

Its not up to you how people play.

I also think your stupid "if you play to win, you will never win" << most stupid comment iv seen on these forums as im sure everyone plays to win.

Basically, unless we play the game like you, we are stupid. In that case, call me stupid!

I don't have a problem with people downloading tactics. Some people just don't understand tactics or the tactical system. Some don't have the time to learn or can't be bothered. Some do not like dealing with tactics at all and are more interested in developing players etc. That's fine, it's your game. You play it however you want.

I just like Developing players, I don't even follow the sport so how am I meant to make a tactic? I only download tactics that have a really detailed information on players needed and I develop these players and buy them if i need to fit the tactic.

There's no such thing as "best" bro. Let them buy who they want and get ****** results or ****** goals/game play.

Sometimes less is more. I love having less work rate/team work in certain positions and no PPMs to avoid clashing with a B2B or defensive forward-type player. Many other variables where "less is more" is true within reason obviously. Not to mention that but the PPMs are almost NEVER right for your line up and it's almost impossible, whether it be SI bias, media influence or just pure luck/idiocy, but the players more often than not DON'T fit their roles. Too many attacking players who run around like headless chickens when playing the roles they play IRL (especially with Arsenal, not so much Chelski/Manure).

Also filling your team with youngsters, if you want to win, isn't recommended.

Using the media is important in full-mode IMO.

Using team-talks, meetings, training, individual training, etc. is all important too.

All i see is excuses. I've won many trophies with Dinamo Zagreb using mostly homegrown players and no top-class player wanted to move to Croatia.

''If you play to win, you will never win'' was wrongly worded by me. What i ment was ''Play to win, not NOT to lose.''

Just incase you haven't understood, you have your way of playing FM, and other people have their ways.

Wallyson you've clearly made a rather large typo when creating your username.

Just because YOU enjoy one way of gameplay there are many other that like to manage the best players in the world and there are many others that are clearly not as tactically astute as you! I myself have downloaded a great deal of tactics and they have helped me hugely as now I have a much better understanding of how I want my team to play because of the help that people have given me.

Everybody can enjoy the game the way he likes it best, if you like it DL tactics, then ok! If you like creating your own tactic, then ok! If you like spending 20 years at 1 club, or 20 years at 20 different clubs, then ok!

I understand what you are saying bro, but do you really think that it will make a difference? Just let people do what they want, don't judge if somebody is playing it differently. Just enjoy the **** game!

Was this thread really that necessary? I mean, does it matter what you think about how people play their games, it doesn't affect yours at all. Focus on your own game, stop whining about how others are playing.

1. All i did was state my own opinion. I didn't directly attack anyone.
2. Don't like the thread? Don't read it.
3. You must be really bad at the game if this thread offended you. :):):):) get on my level :):):):)
