why is my player ineligible for qualification?

hey,

I've made a player using the editor and added them to my game, 15 years old and called them up to england squad. I was able to play them in an international friendly but its now saying that he is ineligible for the next game which is a world cup qualifier. Does any one know whats up with it and ways to sort it out before my game as well he's pretty dam good!

he has now also become unavailable for European matches at club level even thou he's trained in country and been registered

Is it the pre game editor or FMRTE?

I think he's just too young. Try making him 16.

i had something similar before, where lahm and mertesacker became illegible for a few days, seems to be ok now, it was for the national team. I'll try making him younger thou i just wanted to break a lot of records with the guy

Weird. I'm coaching Brazil and have 2 players ineligible for a qualification game.
Both players are 15 and on youth contracts.
They're probably too young for an official qualifier,
because I've had a 14 year old player make his debut before, but that was in a friendly.

EDIT: They are too young to play any non-friendly games. 16 is the minimum age.
