why such poor wages available for assistant?

hi, I have just released my assistant not long after joining Burnley. he was average and on £6000 a week.

I had a guy in mind for replacing him who was after £4000 before negotiating and my wages are at £400,000 with a £550,000 limit

I terminated assistants contract and went to sign my new guy and the most I can offer him is £1200 a week.

I cant understand it, its pretty annoying, the guy is incredible in comparison as well


any quick suggestions or reasons would be much appreciated

You moved your budget fully across to wages? Probably wont increase the amount you can give him by much though.

yeah im a good £150,000 off my max limit. im still allowed to offer players £30k+

just a bit of a pain after sacking assistant. Iv tried other assistants and the wage limit doesnt increase so I dont think it's anything to do with his rep, which is pretty good
