So guys I'm in 2014/2015 season in France with rennais. In my previous season I finished 4th in League.So I went to RULES . As u can see 4th place team goiont to 4th Q. round in ECL ,but when I finished my preparation for upcoming season and hope for easy opp. for match,I saw that my team is in 4th Q round in EURO cup.

The season before I imagine 4th place qualified for EURO Cup.

It changes every season depending on how well your nation does in the European competitions.

Aswell as that, it also mentions "Depending on French Cup" etc..

It may have punted you down to the Euro Cup depending who won the other competitions.

The only leagues that are assigned 4 CL spots are England, Spain, & Germany, IRL. Therefore the previous season France must have been ranked 4th or lower, however the league reputation rose over the summer and are now one of the top 3 leagues, meaning you are allocated 4 spots for the coming season.

To check this in game go to World > Overview > Europe > Competitions - There will probably be a green arrow next to "Ligue 1"
