I am Man Utd for the time being and I wanted to raise a bit of funds by offloading Rooney so I could build a more younger, fitter and better strikeforce. However, no clubs seem to be interested in him except Milan, who did not make a bid. at first I offered him to clubs for £40m thinking clubs like Real Madrid and Man City would poke their noses in, but no, just Milan who were reluctant to make a bid despite the press surrounding Rooney and Milan's fans, saying how excited the Milan fans were about the Rooney 'prospect'. So I lowered the value of the deal to what Wayne is valued at in the game which is a ridiculously low £23.5m. Still, no bids. Then I even went down to £10m, but no bids. Come on Man City even you have to be tempter. But no, not one friggin bid. Anyone have any ideas on how to increase interest in him?

The only way is probably for him to start performing, then the interest should rise.

Why would you even bother selling him at that low a price? Rooney is already extremely fit, he IS the best in the world at his role, and he's not exactly applying for his pension. So how are you going to build a better, fitter and younger strike force on £10m? :)

I was obviously going to negotiate it higher if bids came in. but not one single bid XD

i tried the same as you before i sold him for 75 mill...

...end of the season i came 12th and was sacked....

YOU NEED ROONEY TRUST ME!!!

Rooney isn't very old either. You need someone to stay around to tutor your young strikes.

And what about Hernandez and Macheda?

If you offer him out at £10m, then no one is going to negotiate when you've asked for £10m. :P

Don't see why you would want anyone else to be honest..

Although, if you're not getting bids in, then you're gunna have to bid for the players you want and offer Rooney as an option, or just try everything, maybe send him on loan to get some cash..

Pff, I've had two seasons now where Rooney has been injured for at least half. Luckily Berbatov can only be bothered to be awesome whenever Rooney's injured, and Hernandez is god mode.

Hernandez is a beast. Came on as sub 3 times and scored 4 :)

May consider keeping Roo for the time being, seen as he has 4 in 5.

welbeck can grab a few goals when he comes back too. an abundance of pace is a killer on fm.

Would Rooney being on a £180k a week contract be a fault?

Fat T*** won't go lower either XD

Hernandez is on of the best strikers on the game. He is super fast and has amazing finishing. Makes him a better option then Agbonlahor if you want a fast striker.

God said:
Trust me im right..

Chicarito always wins player of the year on my saves, and is a star in the world cups..Why buy anyone else?

You are either underestimating the intelligence of the game, or are just the worst haggler ever :D When you bought football manager, was it marked £30, but you went to the checkout and demand that you pay at least £45? Of course not. Only offer players for a price you will let them leave at.

did you try to change his team status from indispensable to maybe backup or not needed?
