Wigan confirm they have signed midfielder James McArthur from Hamilton for an undisclosed fee believed to be about £400,000.

Pretty cheap but we don't know how good he is really, follows James McCarthy there who joined earlier in the season, probably two of Hamilton's better players. It will be interesting to see how Hamilton get on in the SPL next season.

Bah! I wanted either Leeds or Rangers to get him, great buy for Wigan.

No idea why he went to Wigan. Must have been seing is former team mate McCarthy rot in the reserves.

McCarthy isn't rotting in the reserves, he was one of their first choice CM's for a lot of the season :/

Exactly, He started to get games just before or after xmas I think?

Suprised he didn't go boro....

There is enough average SPL talent in the championship.

Great buy for 400k, Always thought he was better than McCarthy and he seems to be cutting it.

Billy Reid is a great wheeler and dealer, Hamilton will be fine again this season.
